The fifth place (14-19-1) Saginaw Spirit visits the Memorial Gardens for a midweek west clash with the first place (21-12-2-1) Wednesday, January 26th in Sault Ste Marie.

Both teams hit the ice in a 7:07 p.m puck drop with a head to head record of 2 – 2 during the 2021 – 2022 season.  The Greyhounds are coming off a 4 – 2 TSN nationally televised win on Friday, January 21st at the Sleeman Centre over the Guelph Storm.  The Soo’s Tye Kartye heads into Wednesday’s matchup leading the Ontario Hockey League with 29 goals and third overall in points with 60. Greyhound captain Ryan O’Rourke and forward Tanner Dickinson sit atop of OHL power play goals with 17 before meeting the Spirit on home ice on January 16th.
