Three Lake Superior Figure Skating Club skaters will compete in Hamilton over the March 20 – 22, 2026 weekend.
The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club (LSFSC) skaters Delaney Schumacher, Emily Arbour and Erin Bagg have qualified for the 2026 Skate Ontario Provincial Championship which is being held in Hamilton, On this weekend (March 20-22, 2026).
Lake Superior Skaters will compete in the following events:
- Delaney Schumacher – Gold Women Free Program & Star 9 Women O14 Short Program
- Emily Arbour – Star 7 Artistic
- Erin Bagg – Star 5 Women O13 Free Program
“Qualification is based on rankings against skaters from across Ontario, making this achievement especially significant. Having three skaters qualify is a remarkable accomplishment. Our athletes have worked incredibly hard all season, and we’re very proud of each of them,” said Head Coach and Director of Skating, Kerry Bain.
The club wishes all of its qualifying skaters the very best as they head into competition and is confident, they will represent both the club and Sault Ste. Marie with pride.
