At the John Rhodes Centre, the Superior Heights Steelhawks took to the ice to close out 2022 against Korah Colts in Sault Ste Marie High School Hockey League action on Friday, December 16th.

11:45 into the opening period, Clark Parker finds the back of Korah netminder Troy Rossetto’s net to give the Steelhawks a 1 – 0 with Owen Case adding the lone assist on Parker’s second goal of the 2022 – 2023 season. With Superior Heights on a powerplay at 7:51 of the second period, Owen Case fires his fifth of the season to bring the Steelhawks lead to 2 – 0. Clark Parker drew the helper on Case’s powerplay marker. Scoring their second powerplay goal of the game, Clark Parker registers his third point of the game with his second goal of the contest at 8:18 of the third for the Steelhawks. Case and Dylan Murphy contributed on Parker’s powerplay goal. At 5:56, Korah’s Kaylob Thibodeau sinks his fourth of the season behind Superior Heights goaltender Tristan Tranberg for the Colts lone goal of the contest with Ashton Sawchyn and Cole Arruda notching the assists on Thibodeau’s goal. With only 1:50 remaining in the final high school hockey game of 2022, Case registered his fourth point of the night to give the Steelhawks a 4 – 1 win. Connor Ouimette had the helper on Case’s sixth of the season.
