The puck is set to drop on the 2025–2026 Sault Ste. Marie High School Hockey League season on Saturday, November 1st, as the CASS Huskies host the White Pines Wolverines in the season opener in Thessalon, Ontario. Fans can expect an energetic matchup as both teams look to set the tone early in what promises to be another exciting season of high school hockey.
The action continues Sunday, November 2nd, with a doubleheader featuring four of the league’s five teams. The Korah Colts will face off against the St. Mary’s Knights at 5:30 p.m., followed by the CASS Huskies returning to the ice to take on the Superior Heights Steelhawks at 7:00 p.m.
This season’s schedule will feature over 40 games, with all five high school programs—CASS, White Pines, Korah, St. Mary’s, and Superior Heights—battling for city bragging rights. Several matchups throughout the season will be broadcasted live on Saultsports TV, giving fans across the region the chance to follow the action and support their schools.
