Soo U18 Greyhound coach told Saultsports that “it was a tremendous weekend here in Waterloo. To make it to the final four teams and to play on Sunday is always special. These are the games we need to play against this great competition. It only helps each players development. I know this group is already looking forward to Peterborough next month.”
“We played some great hockey at times today but they were just a little better and well deserving to advance. We aren’t far off against these older teams and these boys are certainly gaining a lot of respect around the province at this level,” added Henderson.
The Soo U18 Greyhounds will be back on the road to close out their 2022 portion of the season with two games in North Bay on Friday, December 16 with a puck drop at 7:30 p.m followed by a Saturday, December 17 contest with a start time of 2:30 p.m against the North Bay U18 Trappers at the Memorial Gardens Sports Arena.
