With a seventh Round Selection (208th overall), Greyhounds’ defenceman Kirill Kudryavtsev was selected in today’s 2022 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
The Hounds 1st Round Selection of the 2021 CHL Import Draft, Kudryavtsev appeared in all 68 games for the club this past season recording 5 goals and 34 assists, good for 39 points.
He had 4 assists in 10 playoff contests.
A 5.11, 200-lb rearguard from Yaroskalv Russia, Kirill was ranked 108th in the NHL Central Scouting’s Final Rankings.
He becomes the 3rd Import Selection of the Hounds in the last five years to be selected to the NHL following Jaromir Pytlik (4th Round, 2020 New Jersey) and Rasmus Sandin (1st Round, 2018 Toronto).

Netminding Prospect taken by Panthers in 2022 Draft
For the third time of this year’s 2022 NHL Draft, a prospect of the Program heard their name called.
With the 189th overall pick (28th of the 6th Round), goaltender Tyler Muszelik was selected by the Florida Panthers.
A native of Long Valley, NJ Muszelik was selected by the Greyhounds in the 15th Round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, presented by Real Canadian Superstore.
A 6.02, 194-lb netminer, Tyler has competed the last two seasons within the US National Development Program.
In 2021-22 with the U.S. National 18 Team he appeared in 35 games compiling a 24-5-3 record to go along with a 2.91 GAA and .900 SV%.
He appeared in 16 games with the USNTDP Juniors within the USHL and represented his country at the U18 tournament.
In 2020-21 he was a member of the U.S. National U17 team.
