Chase Glawson and Daniel Zavitz Bring Home a Silver and Bronze from the 2026 NJP Tour

The National Junior Pickleball (NJP) Tour is quickly becoming one of the premier destinations for young athletes looking to compete, improve, and be part of a growing pickleball community.

Designed exclusively for players ages 8 to 18, NJP Tour events provide juniors with a high-energy atmosphere where competition, development, and friendship come together on and off the court. Over the May 22nd to 25th weekend in Medford, New York, two Sault Ste Marie athletes Chase Glawson (16) and Daniel Zavitz (13) showcased their talent against top competition, earning a silver medal in the 13-18 doubles division (3.5–4.0) while also capturing bronze in the 13-18 advanced teams “DreamBreaker” division.

Tournament divisions are carefully organized by both age and skill level, ensuring competitive and balanced matchups for every player. Event formats are built to maximize court time, with round-robin play leading into medal-round playoffs, giving athletes plenty of opportunities to compete, learn, and grow their game.

More than just a tournament series, the NJP Tour delivers a welcoming, community-driven experience paired with high-level competition, professional event organization, and an environment that helps young players build confidence, sportsmanship, and lifelong memories.
