The Great North U18 Hockey League and TruHous Media announced Monday, March 13th a breaking partnership that will deliver a powerhouse product to minor hockey fans. TruHous Media is the most recognizable brand in the live streaming industry in Northern Ontario.
TruHous Media will stream live programming of the 2023 GNU18HL post season tournament on Hockey TV to their subscribers starting March 16th, through March 19.
“Sports are best consumed live, and if you can’t be there in person, which is the number one experience, the number two experience is being able to consume a high-quality live broadcast,” said Jay Houslander, founder of TruHous Media. “Hockey fans can depend on TruHous Media to cover every minute of the action live.”
TruHous Media will provide the ultimate opportunity for fans unable to attend the tournament in Sault Ste Marie. They can catch all of the heart-pounding action from the U18 players from Northern Ontario.
“TruHous Media has been around for a number of years, and we have really become a significant contributor to the grassroots sports community in Northern Ontario,” said Houslander. “We felt that U18 hockey is underserved in Northern Ontario. For 12 years, our model has worked because we’re uniquely capable of funneling resources back to our coverage of youth, high school, and collegiate sports.”
Lastly, fans won’t want to miss the live stream of Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19 action. “Beyond what this partnership provides hockey fans, this is a massive deal for TruHous Media and sponsors, providing them with the kind of exposure they need to grow their brands and drive sales,” continued Houslander. “We feel confident that we are going to set a new standard in streaming with the 2023 GNU18HL post season tournament, and that includes the production and execution of our live stream.”
