The 2026 Laird Raceway season officially got underway on Friday, June 26, as more than 4,000 race fans filled the grandstands to witness an exciting opening night. A total of 44 race cars across five competitive divisions took to the track, delivering close battles, exciting passes, and memorable finishes to kick off another summer of racing.
One of the biggest stories of the night came in the 4 Cylinder Division, where 14-year-old rookie Will Siddall drove the No. 7 car to an impressive victory in his first season of competition. Seth Ralph (No. 94) crossed the line in second, while Tim Pascall (No. 76) completed the podium in third.
In the Factory Stock Division, Brad Bibeau (No. 80) claimed the checkered flag ahead of Xavier Carter (No. 29) in second and Daniel Bibeau (No. 8) in third. The Modified Division saw J.P. Delpaggio (No. 22) earn the opening-night victory, followed by Mark Laakso (No. 84) and Dylan Connolly (No. 86).
The Super Late Model Division featured another exciting battle, with Chase Wilson (No. 77) taking the win ahead of Jeremy Van Hoek (No. 51) and Dustin Jackson (No. 61). Rounding out the evening, Lucas Fabbricino (No. 95) captured the Enduro Division victory, while Eric Sylvestre (No. 44) and Dayne Lorenzo (No. 19) finished second and third, respectively.
The excitement continues next week as week two of the 2026 Laird Raceway season takes place on Thursday, July 2, with the green flag scheduled to drop just after 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out for another action-packed evening as drivers look to build momentum early in the season.
