Voyageurs and Knights Victorious in Week Four of Sault High School Boys Volleyball Action

Sault Ste. Marie, ON – Week four of the Sault Ste. Marie High School Boys Volleyball season brought another exciting round of matches, with teams battling for key mid-season wins. The Notre Dame Voyageurs taking on the Steelhawks, while the St. Mary’s Knights faced the Superior Heights Steelhawks.

On Wednesday, the Voyageurs showcased strong serving and consistent team play to earn a 3–0 sweep over the Wolverines. Notre Dame controlled the match from start to finish, taking the sets 25–14, 25–19, and 25–20 to secure a straight-set victory and add another win to their season record.

The action continued on Thursday as the St. Mary’s Knights squared off against the Superior Heights Steelhawks. The Knights came out strong in the opening set with a 25–15 win before the Steelhawks bounced back in the second, edging out St. Mary’s 25–23 to even the match at one set apiece. The Knights regained momentum in a thrilling third set, winning 26–24, and then closed out the contest convincingly with a 25–14 fourth set to take the 3–1 match victory.

Both St. Mary’s and Notre Dame continue to build momentum as the regular season intensifies, while Superior Heights and White Pines will look to rebound in the next round of competition.

Next up in Sault Ste. Marie High School Boys Volleyball action, on Monday, October 20th, the Notre Dame Voyageurs will host the St. Mary’s Knights at Notre Dame, while the White Pines Wolverines welcome the Korah Colts to White Pines. Both matches are set for 7:00 p.m first serves.
