Algoma University Athletics announced on Thursday, December 8th that for the remainder of the 2022/2023 basketball season, Ryan Vetrie will be taking over as the Interim Men’s Algoma OUA Thunderbird Basketball Coach.
Vetrie brings a great deal of experience to this role. With many years of dedication to the sport as a player and coach, he will be an asset to the men’s team. Vetrie is our current Women’s Basketball Head Coach as well.
“I am excited for the opportunity to finish off the season as the interim MBB head coach. This will be a collective effort from our coaching staffs to help support our athletes for the remainder of the season,” stated Vetrie.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Ryan for his help for the rest of the season.
