Over the January 26th and 27th weekend, the Soo U18 Greyhounds hosted the Timmins Majors on Saturday, January 26th followed by a SUnday, January 27th contest against the Sudbury U16 Wolves in Sault Ste Marie in Great North U18 Hockey League action.
Soo Greyhound head coach Denny Lambert told Saultsports that “It was a big four-point weekend for us. We talked about learning how to play the right way after coming back from Peterborough and we worked on things and practice all week to get ready for the game so this past weekend we implemented some new strategies on how we were going to play and it worked out really well for us so we’re very excited to get the four points this weekend.”

Next up for the U18 Greyhounds will be over the February 3rd and 4th weekend with two GNU18HL when the Sudbury U18 Wolves hit the ice in Sault Ste Marie on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m matchup as well as the Kapuskasing Flyers on Sunday for a 12:00 p.m puck drop.
