U15 AAA Greyhounds Head into Christmas Break with Sweeping the Visiting Majors

Over the December 20th and 21st weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, the Soo U15 AAA Greyhounds hosted the Timmins Majors for a three-game Northern Ontario AAA Hockey League series. Game one got underway at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, and it was the Greyhounds who set the tone early and never looked back, skating to a convincing 13–2 victory.

The Soo struck first at the 11:02 mark of the opening period when Lukas Maninos opened the scoring, finishing a play set up by Thomas Ubaldi. Timmins briefly answered on the powerplay as Bailey Scott tied the game at 1–1, but the Greyhounds quickly regained control. That would be as close as the Majors would get. The third period belonged entirely to the Soo. Jarrett completed his hat trick with one more goals coming on special teams, while Dante Caruso added a pair of tallies of his own.
