TruHous Media (Saultsports TV and True North Radio) and Sault College Athletics have entered into an exclusive media rights agreement that will begin in the fall of 2025, bringing four elite Canadian Junior Football Games to their platform.
The partnership further reinforces TruHous Media’s commitment to supporting collegiate athletics adding a another sports program to the Saultsports TV and True North Radio portfolio bringing the grand total of partnerships to eight that include Superior Heights Steelhawks (ADSB), Korah Colts (ADSB), White Pines Wolverines (ADSB), St Mary’s Knights (HSCDSB), Soo U16/U18 Greyhounds (GNU18HL), Algoma Thunderbird Athletics (OUA), and now Sault College Cougars (CJFL).

The CJFL is one of the country’s leading football leagues and provides the opportunity for young people aged 17 to 22 to participate in highly competitive post-high school football that is unique in Canada. The goal of the league is to foster community involvement and yield a positive environment by teaching discipline, perseverance and cooperation. The benefits of the league are strong camaraderie, national competition and life-long friends.
With the launch of this comprehensive partnership, Sault College Athletics joins other innovative sports programs to distribute their entire home games for the 2025 football season on a digital-only platform allowing fans to watch live and on-demand games and other sports-related content on any device, anywhere.
Sault College Cougars (CJFL) program will collaborate on a new dedicated news, interviews, and analysis of the conference’s football programs throughout each season. Details on this will be announced soon.

Leading the charge for Sault College Cougars CJFL football are play-by-play announcer Kevin Hemsworth and colour commentator Tony Boniferro. This dynamic duo will bring fans all the action from the Cougars’ home games in weeks four (Hamilton Hurricanes), six (London Beefeaters), seven (St. Clair Saints), and ten (Quinte Skyhawks), delivering expert insight and exciting play-by-play coverage.
