On Friday, September 11th, the Sault Female Hockey Association Soo U18AA Jr Greyhounds 2021 – 2022 roster was announced.

The 2021 – 2022 Jr Greyhounds will hit the ice for the first time since March 2021 on Wednesday, September 15th for their first team practice of the season as they prepare for the Stoney Creek Girls Showcase tournament on weekend of October 14th. Than the girls will return to southern Ontario at the start of November in a North York tournament.

Coach Greg Brazeau told Saultsports that “we are very excited to get the season started. This was the most competitive tryout I’ve been involved with in female hockey. There’s a great mix of three age groups, which I feel is very important for not only this team, but the team going forward in the years ahead.”

“We’ve got an outstanding group of defense. We have lots of speed, Skill, and grit up front with the forwards, and we have without a doubt in my mind one of the best goaltending tandems in U18 AA anywhere. Pretty confident the leaders in that dressing room will have everyone on the same page, and I’m really looking forward to working with all these young women,” added Brazeau.
