Soo U 15 Greyhound coach Jamie Henderson told Saultsports that “Friday was a long trip up north on the bus where we started out sloppy in Friday’s game against the Flyers. We definitely did not play the way we wanted to. We at least came out of Friday’s contest with two points. With Kap playing a real hard fought game in their small rink, it made are guys respond against a difficult Flyers team. I that the guys absolutely deserving of the four points.”

“We have a lot to work on in the next few weeks and we will get back to practice on Tuesday. It will be a good test this weekend in Sudbury against the Sudbury U16 Nickel Capitals to prepare for the following weekend at home where we looking forward to a showdown for the top position in the GNML with the Sudbury U18 Nickel Capitals for the first meeting of this season. We are building to get better everyday and a lot to work on to get better and back at it this week,” added Henderson.

The U18 Greyhounds will be back on the road for the February 26th and 27th weekend in Sudbury against the Sudbury U16 Nickel Capitals in 8:15 p.m and 12:15 p.m starts.
