Greyhound coach Jamie Henderson told Saultsports that “it was really nice to play at home It was the first time since November so it’s been a while. It was great to see contributions from up and down the lineup all weekend really. Piper Post had a nice goal Friday and one of our heart and soul guys Harley Wardell scored yesterday so that’s always great to see especially with playoffs coming up. I thought a couple 06’s Jacob Smith and Evan Roach had real good weekends and our goaltending was outstanding all weekend it was great for Terry See to come up big yesterday and earn the win.”

“Ultimately looking back at video today we have lots work ahead these next ten days or so until playoffs, but the team was certainly deserving of both wins,” added Henderson.

The Soo U18 Greyhounds will round out their 2021 – 2022 Great North Midget League regular season with two game on March 11th and 12th with game one against the North Bay U16 Trappers followed by the North Bay U18 Trappers in game two at the Powassan Sportflex. Game times will be 6:30 p.m and 9:30 a.m respectively.
