Soo U18 Black Sox Tie EUP Woodducks Tie in Midweek Clash in Sault, Michigan

On Wednesday, July 12th in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, the Soo Black Sox 18U and EUP Woodducks tied 3-3 in a midweek clash.

Soo Black Sox 18U were the first to get on the board in the third when Caleb Walker singled, scoring one run.

Morse grounded out, which helped EUP Woodducks tie the game at one in the bottom of the fourth.

Soo Black Sox 18U took the lead in the top of the fifth. Connor Bruzas singled, scoring one run, to give Soo Black Sox 18U the lead, 2-1.

J Lumsden hit a sacrifice fly, which helped EUP Woodducks tie the game at two in the bottom of the fifth.

EUP Woodducks took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Wilson doubled, scoring one run, to give EUP Woodducks the leg up, 3-2.

Michael Hapanovich grounded out, which helped Soo Black Sox 18U tie the game at three in the top of the seventh.

Kolton Tremblay stepped on the mound first for Soo Black Sox 18U. They gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Lumsden started on the hill for EUP Woodducks. They gave up five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking two.
