The Soo U15 Black Sox will a showcase in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario at Sinclair Yards over the June 4 – 6, 2022 weekend that will include Valley East U14 Voyageurs, Thunder U14 Bay Lakers, Thunder U15 Bay Lakers, Sudbury U15 Shamrock Selects along with the Soo U15 Black Sox.

Over the June 4 – 6 weekend, the Soo U15 Black Sox will also host Team North evaluation camp to form a U15 team that will represent Northern Ontario at the 2022 Summer Games in Mississauga, Ontario from July 21 – 23, 2022.

“Team North is a selected group of players that will compete at the 2022 Ontario Summer Games versus other teams/regions located throughout Ontario. The OSG is a unique experience that will be remembered by all who are fortunate enough to be selected.  Being geographically located in the middle of the Northern Ontario region, it’s a privilege to host all the athletes that will be trying out in the Sault this upcoming weekend.  Hosting a venue of this caliber in the Sault is a benefit to future players within our SMBA association and the city.  It is also an opportunity to promote our new OCAA program offered by Sault College. We’re hopeful to get some fans to cheer on the players during Sunday morning’s venue at IDA Park where the final game evaluation event will take place,” added Soo U15 Black Sox coach Mark Caruso.
