On Sunday, September 6, the Algoma University Thunderbirds Soccer women and men’s programs are hosting a special Sault Youth Soccer Day at Superior Heights Turf Field!
The Thunderbirds will be hosting the Laurier Golden Hawks and are inviting all Sault Youth Soccer players, coaches and families to come out and experience university soccer right here in our community .. this game is FREE for Sault Youth players, coaches and families!
What to expect:
- Sault Youth players will help lead the Thunderbirds onto the field for the starting 11 announcements and anthems
- A special halftime game featuring Sault Youth players
- Shoutouts and promotions throughout the afternoon
- Back-to-back women’s and men’s OUA soccer action!

This is a great opportunity for our young players to see where soccer can take them .. and to cheer on the next level of the game right here in Sault Ste. Marie.
