From the founders who helped bring organized men’s basketball back to the Sault, Eleanor and Jayden Connell have now taken over the operations of a previously established women’s league, introducing that same successful approach to the Sault Women’s Basketball League.

Opening night so set for June 22nd and will feature two games, taking place at the George Leach Centre:

• 6:00 p.m – Head Top Central vs Bench Mob
• 7:00 p.m – Sault Tempo vs Matriarch Ballers

The women’s league hosts players with a variety of skill levels. From former university players, to those who are relatively new to the game, the Sault Women’s Basketball League wants to offer an organized and fun environment that players of all skill levels can enjoy!

The public is encouraged to attend and support local athletes, completely free of charge!
