Sault College Cougars Volleyball 2026-2027 OCAA Schedule Released

The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced its 2026-27 regular season women’s volleyball schedule on Monday, June 22, with action set to begin across the province on October 22. The Sault College Cougars Women’s Volleyball team will open the new campaign on the road, traveling to Welland, Ontario, for a season-opening doubleheader against the Niagara Knights on October 24 and 25. The opening weekend will provide the Cougars with an early test as they look to establish themselves in a highly competitive West Division.

The road to the provincial championship will once again feature a challenging postseason format. OCAA Qualifying Games, which include divisional crossover matchups, are scheduled for Saturday, February 13, followed by the Quarter-Finals on Saturday, February 20. The season will culminate with the 2027 OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships, taking place from Friday, February 26 through Sunday, February 28, where the province’s top programs will compete for the championship banner.

The OCAA East Division features a strong lineup of programs including the Algonquin Wolves, Canadore Panthers, Centennial Colts, La Cité Coyotes, Durham Lords, Fleming Phoenix, George Brown Huskies, Georgian Grizzlies, Loyalist Lancers, St. Lawrence Surge, and Seneca Sting. With teams stretching from Ottawa and North Bay to Toronto, Kingston, and Belleville, the East Division is expected to provide plenty of competitive volleyball throughout the season.

In the West Division, the Sault College Cougars will battle against the Boréal Vipères, Cambrian Golden Shield, Conestoga Condors, Fanshawe Falcons, Humber Hawks, Mohawk Mountaineers, Niagara Knights, Redeemer Royals, St. Clair Saints, and Sheridan Bruins. The division features several perennial contenders and long road trips, making every match crucial as teams compete for playoff positioning and an opportunity to advance toward the 2027 OCAA Championships.
