On Thursday, January 19th, Sault Ste Marie’s Berlyn Killoran of St. Mary’s College has officially signed with the Algoma U women’s soccer team for the fall of 2023. She currently plays as a forward for Soo City United. Berlyn will be studying Business come the fall.
Killoran chose Algoma because she will be able to get a quality education, and play the sport she loves while staying local. With a good work ethic and positive mindset, she believes she will be able to be play a key role on the team.
Head Coach Neil Ovey states that, “Berlyn was high on our 2023 recruiting list. So we are extremely happy to get the signing completed and another local product into the program. Berlyn has a good technical ability and tactical knowledge of the game and will bring high energy to the program.”
