The Sault Ringette Club is proud to congratulate our U14A team on an outstanding achievement, earning a silver medal at the Ringette Ontario Provincial A Championships held in Kitchener-Waterloo. This accomplishment reflects the dedication, hard work, and commitment
of this team throughout the season, and we celebrate their success on the provincial stage.
The Ringette Ontario Provincial A Championships bring together the top 16 teams in two tiers from across the province to compete for the championship title. Competing in Tier 1, against seven teams in the highest level of A division play, our U14 athletes faced the very best competition Ontario has to offer.
As a northern club, the Sault Ringette Club continues to demonstrate that size is no barrier to success. Competing against larger associations from Southern Ontario, our athletes consistently rise to the challenge. Ringette is strong in the North, and our club takes pride in developing high-quality players who compete with confidence and represent our community with excellence at the provincial level.
“This silver medal is an incredible accomplishment for our U14A team, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort throughout the season,” said Club President Amy Peltonen.
“We encourage any young athletes who are looking for a fun, fast-paced team sport to give ringette a try. Our club is a welcoming place to learn, grow, and be part of something special.”
The Sault Ringette Club welcomes players of all ages and skill levels to join our growing community. Whether you’re new to ringette or looking to continue developing your skills, ringette offers a fun and supportive environment. We are always looking for new players to join our houseleague and trave teams and experience everything this incredible sport has to offer.
