The Sault Ringette Club is excited to announce fall sort-outs for the 2026–2027 Sault Ice Hawks representative (rep) development teams. Fall tryouts will fill roster spots across the U10, U12A, U12B, U14B, and U16B divisions, following the spring formation of U14A and U16A teams as per Ringette Ontario guidelines.
Ringette is a high-speed, non-contact ice sport built on rapid passing, elite skating, and strategy, making it a great option for athletes looking for a fast-paced, competitive team sport.
Playing for the Ice Hawks offers well-rounded player development, including weekly practices focused on skill refinement, strategy, and conditioning—complemented by regular dryland training. Beyond the ice and out-of-town tournaments, players build character and teamwork through active community engagement throughout the season. Adding to the excitement this year, the Sault Ringette Club is proud to host the Northeast Regional Championships March 12-14, 2027, giving regional Ice Hawks an opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd.
To support roster needs, the Ice Hawks are actively recruiting goalies for the U14 and U16 divisions. Athletes with prior hockey goaltending experience seeking a competitive rep team opportunity are encouraged to try out, as goaltending skills translate well to ringette.

To be eligible for tryouts, all participating athletes—including boys, (who are eligible across all open age brackets) must be registered with the Sault Ringette Club for the 2026–2027 season prior to sort-outs. Players selected for an Ice Hawks rep team are required to participate in the house league program in addition to the rep teams.
