The road to a NOSSA and OFSSA championship begins this February as the Sault Ste. Marie Girl’s and Boy’s High School Hockey League postseason officially gets underway. The girls will open playoff action on February 11th at the John Rhodes Centre, featuring two semi-final matchups. Game one is scheduled for 10:30 a.m with the fourth seed taking on the first seed, followed by the second semi-final at 12:00 p.m as the third seed faces the second seed. With everything on the line, fans can expect high-tempo hockey as teams battle for a spot in the championship series.

The boys’ postseason begins one week later on February 17th, starting with a crucial play-in game between the fifth seed and fourth seed. The winner of that matchup will advance as the fourth seed into the boys’ playoff bracket, officially locking in the postseason field. With momentum, pride, and playoff positioning at stake, the opening rounds promise intense competition as teams look to extend their seasons and chase league glory.
