The Algoma Thunderbirds women’s and men’s basketball programs are set for an exciting 2025-2026 OUA season, as both teams prepare to compete in a 22-game schedule that promises plenty of action. The season tips off at home on October 24, 2025, at the George Leach Centre, giving fans an early chance to cheer on the Thunderbirds as they start their campaign on familiar ground. After a busy stretch of home and away matchups throughout the winter, the Thunderbirds will wrap up their regular season on February 14, 2026, when they travel to Windsor to take on the Lancers in a Valentine’s Day showdown.
