After being cancelled the past two years, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Curling Championships are back, and the Cougars will play host from February 17-21, 2022 at the Community First Curling Centre.

Manager of Athletics, Paul Orazietti, is looking forward to Sault College hosting the OCAA Championships for the ninth time. “We are thrilled to welcome the OCAA Curling Championships to Sault Ste. Marie this week. The Sault has a history of producing competitive curlers and we are confident that our teams will continue that tradition”.

The event will feature student-athletes from Confederation College, Fanshawe College, Humber College, Mohawk College, Niagara College, and host Sault College. The bonspiel will consist of mixed doubles, men’s and women’s team competitions.

The Cougars men’s curling team will face Humber College, and the women’s team will take on Fanshawe College in Draw 1 on February 18th at 9:30 a.m.
