14 figure skaters represented the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club (LSFSC) at the Skate Ontario Provincial Series Competition in Sudbury, Ontario over the December 2nd and 3rd weekend. The competition is one of several qualifying events, offered by Skate Ontario throughout the season, for those skaters vying for a spot to compete at the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships. This year Provincials will be held March 22-24 in Brampton, Ontario for Star 5-Gold and Pre-Juvenile to Senior. The Provincial Series competitions also offer non-qualifying events for skaters at many different levels of skating.

Head Coach, Kerry Bain, was very pleased with the skaters’ results over the weekend. The skaters were great ambassadors of LSFSC, they all skated well, and some personal best scores were achieved. This was a great start to the 2023/24 competition season.
