On Saturday, June 25th at Superior Heights, the (1-2) Sault Varsity Sabercats opened the afternoon with a 1:00 p.m kickoff against the visiting (2-1) Cornwall Wildcats while the (2-1) Sault Junior Sabercats took to the field in the second game of the day when they hosted the (1-2) Huronia Stallions in a late afternoon contest.

The varsity Sabercats fell to the Wildcats in a close 41-38 loss at home will the junior Sabercats improve their record to 3 – 1 with a 49 – 0 win over the visiting Stallions at Superior Heights.

Next up for the Sabercats will be on the road in Kingston on Friday, July 1st when the junior hitting the field for a 1:00 p.m kickoff followed by the varsity Sabercats at 5:00 p.m against the Kingston Jr Gaels at Richard Memorial Stadium.
