At the Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex on Saturday, June 4th, the junior and varsity Sault Sabercats opened the 2022 Ontario Summer Football League regular season against the Brantford Bisons.
In junior action in Brantford, Ontario, the junior Sabercats earned their first regular season win in two years with a 29 – 25 win over the Bisons while the varsity Sabercats fell to the Bisons with a 21 – 17 loss at the Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex. (no stats to report)
The junior and varsity Sabercats return home for June 11th matchup when they host the Myer Riders at Superior Heights in Sault Ste Marie with kickoffs at 1:00 p.m (junior) and 4:00 p.m (senior).
