In a Friday, December 6th contest at the John Rhodes Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, the Superior Heights Steelhawks faced off against the CASS Huskies in Sault Ste Marie High School Hockey League action, suffering a 5-3 loss. Steelhawks players Chad Gendron, Ryan Oliver, and Tye Rushon each contributed a goal, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the offensive power of the Huskies. Brody Kleist led the charge for the Huskies with an impressive hat trick, while Mika Chong and Tyler Quenneville each added a goal to secure the victory. Steelhawks goaltender Danil Lipenski allowed five goals in the defeat, while Huskies’ netminder Cash Roswell kept his team in the lead, conceding only three goals behind the CASS defense in the win.
