With a busy streaming season just over 50 days away, TruHous Media (SaultSports TV) is expanding its broadcast team and is looking for passionate individuals to help deliver high-quality coverage of local hockey, football, basketball, and soccer. We are currently hiring for paid positions, including Directors, Play-by-Play Commentators, Colour Commentators, Camera Operators, and several other game-day production roles. Whether you’re an experienced broadcaster or looking to gain valuable experience in live sports production, this is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team dedicated to showcasing local athletes and events. Director/Producer
You will be in charge of operating the switcher and getting the shots necessary to produce a professional one-hour and forty-five-minute product each week. Computer and switching experience is required. Experience with OBS software would be a huge plus. THIS POSITION IS PROBABLY THE MOST CRITICAL to providing a finished product to meet the standards we will require each week. The ability to work under pressure is a must.

Play-by-Play Commentator
Play-by-play commentator delivers real-time commentary during sports events, capturing the action and providing context to keep viewers or listeners engaged. They describe each play, highlight key moments, and often provide analysis or insight based on the ongoing event. Responsibilities include researching teams, players, and game histories, preparing pre-game and post-game scripts, conducting interviews, and collaborating with color commentators or analysts to create a comprehensive broadcast experience. They must react quickly to unexpected events and maintain professionalism throughout the broadcast.

Colour Commentator
Colour Commentator is an analyst or summarizer, provides expert analysis and background information during live sports broadcasts. Work alongside the play-by-play announcer, adding depth to the coverage with their insights about the teams, players, and game strategy. Need to have quick thinking and excellent communication skills to convey complex information in an accessible and engaging way. Colour commentators also need to be adaptable, as unexpected situations can arise during live broadcasts.
