EJ Ballers Basketball Program is designed for all players who are determined and committed to being “great.” The U17 (2005) Travel team program will be comprised of all skill levels, starting from developmental and rising to the elite basketball ranks!
EJ Ballers focuses on teaching and developing the fundamentals. Defense, offense, mental preparation, and conditioning are the hallmark of what we do. Directed by Algoma OUA Thunderbird men’s basketball coach Etienne Jacquet and an accomplished coaching staff will lead the U17 team to becoming the very best they can be, individually and as a team.
Promoting a healthy and positive environment is necessary for our athletes to be they can best they can be on the floor while parent/family accountability is necessary for our athletes to focus on the task at hand. EJ Ballers U17 Basketball program is a “family”. In our family there is individual responsibility, shared sacrifice, collective pride, and true.
“EJ Ballers of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario is excited to offer a boys travel team for players with the birth year of 2005-2006 (U17) an opportunity to play travel and high-level exposure events,” added coach Jacquet.
Our 2005-2006 (U17) team will participate in tournaments throughout the province and beyond depending on demand and team ability. Tournaments and exhibition games are to be determined by availability. Each tournament will consist of 2 or more games and will be played at various locations. Tournaments may be one or two days long and/or overnight so please be prepared to give up the entire weekend. All current players will be evaluated for placement. There will be a game roster with additional practice players. The roster can change based on merit, attendance, ability, and dedication to the EJ Baller mission. Practice will consist of skill development, strength & conditioning, and team building. Playing time will be at the discretion of the coaches.
Program Cost (Per Athlete) $300.00 additional costs will be added for tournaments.
Serious athletes are welcomed.
