Excitement is in the air as the top U16 hockey players have received their coveted invitations to the upcoming Team NOHA training camp in Powassan, Ontario on February 16th and 17th that included eight players from Sault Ste Marie.
These talented athletes have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership both on and off the ice, earning them this prestigious opportunity to showcase their abilities at the highest level. As they prepare to compete amongst the best of their peers, the training camp promises to be a pivotal moment in their hockey journey.
With rigorous drills, strategic sessions, and intense scrimmages ahead, these young players are poised to elevate their game and leave a lasting impression on coaches and scouts alike. The training camp represents not only a chance to hone their skills but also a stepping stone towards achieving their dreams of playing at the highest levels of hockey.
As they lace up their skates and hit the ice, these U16 standouts are ready to seize the moment and make their mark on the future of the sport for a chance to represent Northern Ontario at the 2024 OHL Cup in Toronto, Ontario that will run from March 25 – 28. The 2024 OHL will feature the top 20 U16 AAA teams from Ontario and the United States.
