Some of the top 18U baseball talent from across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Sault Ste Marie, Ontario will converge on both sides of the international border as Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, jointly host the 2026 Michigan Veterans Baseball/American Legion 18U Tournament from July 24-26. The unique cross-border event will showcase three days of competitive baseball while celebrating the strong partnership and long-standing rivalry between the neighboring communities.

Competing for the 2026 tournament championship will be the Menominee Chiefs, Post 44 Blues, Gaylord Baseball Club, Ironwood Post 5 Athletics, Sagola 168 Legion, along with tournament hosts E.U.P. Wood Ducks and the Soo Black Sox. Fans can expect an exciting weekend of high-level baseball as seven talented clubs battle for the championship, bringing together players, coaches, families, and supporters for one of the premier summer baseball events in the region.

The E.U.P. Wood Ducks, Menominee Chiefs, Post 44 Blues will be in Pool A while the Gaylord Baseball Club, Ironwood Post 5 Athletics, Sagola 168 Legion, and Soo Black Sox will be in Pool B.
