Under cloudy skies and turf covered in a light covering of snow in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on November 20th, the Korah Colts took to the ice to face the visiting St Ignatius Falcons of Thunder Bay in the 2021 OFSAA Northern Bowl. The Colts were looking for their third straight OFSAA championship after winning their last one in Hamilton in the fall of 2019 before the pandemic cancelled the whole high school football season for the whole province in 2020.
Korah’s Michael Nicoletta led the Colts with four majors along with Korah quarterback Ryan Barnes carrying the ball for one touchdown in the Colts 35 – 7 win over the St Ignatius Falcons. Tyler Robertson of the Falcons scored the lone touchdown in the OFSAA championship on the road.
