To close out the 2022 regular season under wet skies on Thursday, October 13th, the Korah Colts took to the field to face the White Pines Wolverines in Sault Ste Marie High School Junior Football action at Superior Heights field.
Only four seconds into the second quarter, White Pines quarterback Garrin Pine rushes for a three yard carry to give the Wolverines a 6 – 0 lead. At 11:40 of the fourth quarter, Korah’s Nathan Higham runs through the Wolverines defensive line for a one yard touchdown carry to even the game 6 – 6. Nixon Blair added one point on a convert to bring the Colts lead to 7 – 6. With 3:04 remaining in Thursday’s contest at Superior Heights, Colt quarterback Brycen Sloss runs for a one yard major to give Korah a 14 – 6 win after a successful Nixon Blair convert.

Semi – Final opponents for the junior division will be determined after the Friday, October 14th junior matchup with the Superior Heights Steelhawks take on the St Mary’s Knights at 4:45 p.m. Live on Saultsports TV.
