Just over four minutes later, Manchulenko struck again at 2:14, scoring his 25th of the year, this time set up by Lang. The Colts kept pressing and extended their lead to 3–0 at 1:12 when Preston Miller buried his 10th goal of the season, finishing a play from Deago Campagna and Jackson Burrows.

The Colts added to their lead early in the third period. At 4:25, Will Pusch found the back of the net for his second of the season, once again with Campagna and Burrows picking up the assists, sealing a 4–0 victory.
