On Tuesday, October 14th, the Korah Colts traveled to White Pines to take on the Wolverines in Sault Ste. Marie High School girls basketball action, featuring both junior and senior matchups.
In the junior contest, the Korah Colts came out strong and secured a 45–30 victory over the Wolverines. Leading the way for White Pines was Niyana Fox with 14 points, while Molly Filice paced the Colts with 12 points and Arabella MacLachlan added 11 in the win.
The senior matchup was a much tighter affair, with the White Pines Wolverines pulling off a 37–31 win over the visiting Colts. Kaizly Murray led the Wolverines with 10 points, while Ella Filice and Claire Hill each tallied 7 points for Korah.
Next up, the Korah Colts will return home on Tuesday, October 21st to host the St. Mary’s Knights, while the White Pines Wolverines will head to Superior Heights to face the Steelhawks. Tipoff times are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (junior) and 7:00 p.m. (senior).
