Korah coach Chris Perri told Saultsports that “we are taking to many penalties and it’s puts pressure on the entire team to kill penalties, it jumbles up lines and limits the amount of regular strength time we have to bounce back. We can’t afford to let our emotions get the best of us and make careless mistakes that cost us the game. Moving forward, we need to focus on maintaining our composure, showing up and playing a disciplined hockey game in its entirety. It’s time to put tonight’s game behind us, learn from our mistakes and come out next game with some relentless passion to win Sunday night!”
“Happy to come away with the win and series lead but we definitely need to clean some things up, our special teams and goaltending came up big for us. Need to do a better job getting pucks out of our zone consistently, we will review some film and be ready to go on Sunday.” added Knights coach Josh Dunn.
