The 2024 Sault Ste Marie High Hockey League champions, the St Mary’s Knights who were representing Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics Hit the road to take part in the 2024 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations AA Hockey Championships in Whitby, Ontario from March 19th to 22nd.
In game one on the first day, the sixth ranked St Mary’s Knights met the ninth ranked Henry Street High School Hawks of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics Association on Tuesday, March 19th. After a 6 – 0 shutout win over the Hawks in game one, the Knights hit the ice for game two on Tuesday for an afternoon matinee against the Beaver Brae Broncos of Kenora, Ontario representing the Northwestern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association.

The Knights head into day two of the 2024 OFSAA AA Hockey Championships with a 2 – 0 record after a 6 – 2 win over the Broncos to face the Thousand Island Secondary School Pirates in their final game of round robin with a puck drop of 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, March 20th.
