The Blind River Beavers are proud to announce the official signing of forward Caleb Walker of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to their 2025–2026 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) roster.

The 6’1”, 165-pound forward joins the Beavers after an impressive 2024–2025 campaign with the Soo U18 Greyhounds in the Great North U18 Hockey League (GNU18HL). The 18-year-old Walker led by example in the offensive zone, tallying 25 goals and 25 assists in 32 regular season games, including six powerplay goals. He added an assist in five playoff games with the U18 Greyhounds.

Walker is no stranger to the Beavers organization. Last season, he suited up for twelve regular season NOJHL games with Blind River, notching two goals and one assist, with one of those goals coming on the man advantage. He also gained valuable playoff experience, appearing in seven postseason contests where he contributed 1 goal and 3 assists during the Beavers’ playoff run.

Blind River coach Kyle Brick told Saultsports that “we are excited to have a stand out affiliate walker with us this coming season! Caleb stepped up for us last season and played several key games including playoffs on our top line. We have no doubt Walks will be able to step in and have an immediate impact at the junior level.”
