Under grey and damp conditions in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Ryan Bastien is at the head of the pack as the 9th Annual Sault Ste Marie City Championships hits the halfway mark at the end of day one on June 26, 2021 at the Sault Golf Club. Defending champion Don Martone sits three back of leader Bastien heading into day two when the City Championships take to the course at Crimson Ridge with the leader Bastien teeing off at 10:40 a.m on Sunday, June 27th.
“As we expected the leaderboard is stacked with some great players. We had a lot of great rounds despite some tough conditions with rain most of the day. There are legit 12 or more players with an opportunity to win tomorrow which is really exciting for the event,” said Jamie Henderson (Tournament co-host/PGA Professional).
