705 Athletics are currently seeking additional coaching staff to their growing environment at 705 Athletics. At 705 we specialize in coaching cheerleading at both recreational and competitive levels in Sault Ste. Marie. They are looking for coaching staff who are willing to spend their time helping athletes learn cheerleading and grow both as an individual and together as teammates. 705 Athletics values solidarity, passion, inclusion, respect, inspiration, and teamwork.
At this time they are looking to add staff to their growing recreational and competitive cheerleading programs for the 2023/2024 season. 705 Athletics have multiple job opportunities at this time.
Head Coaches for both competitive and recreational programs will be responsible for creating a unique routine for their teams, teaching proper techniques and skills required for their division/age level. Head coaches will be required to follow the provided training and practice structure from 705 Athletics. Head coaches must have a 85% practice commitment rate, and must also take on the responsibility of set and take down for practices as needed, and travel for competitions when required.
Assistant Coaches for both competitive and recreational programs will help the head coach run each practice, and help teach proper techniques and skills required for their division/age level. Assistant coaches must follow the provided training and practice structure provide by 705 Athletics. Assistant coaches must adhere to a commitment of 70% practices, competitive assistant coaches may be required to travel.
Tumbling Coaches will be required to provided one on one and small group tumbling classes. Tumbling coaches will also be required to participate in select recreational and competitive practices for tumbling purposes only. Tumbling coaches must have NCCP Coaching Certification under Gymnastics.
Competitive Season runs from August 2023 until May 2024 and will practice four hours weekly. Recreational Season runs from September 2023 until May 2024 and will practice 1.5 hours weekly.
