On Saturday, August 23rd, Laird Raceway roared to life for day two of the 2025 Mike Parsons Memorial weekend, as over 55 cars battled for checkered flags in front of an electric crowd. The highlight of the night was the Super Late Model 73-lap feature, where drivers competed for a $10,000 first-place prize, $4,000 for second, and $2,500 for third.
In the headline event, 13 of the region’s best Super Late Model drivers hit the track chasing the title of 2025 Mike Parsons Memorial champion. Former winner and 2023 champion Chase Wilson (#77) once again proved his dominance, charging through the field and holding off late-race pressure to secure his second Mike Parsons Memorial victory. Jordan Sims (#47) put on another strong performance, finishing runner-up for the second consecutive season, while veteran driver Roddy Bolduc (#94) rounded out the podium in third.
The action-packed night also featured a 30-lap Modified feature, where 2025 division champion Dustin Jackson (#61) capped off his season in style with a commanding victory. John Ross (#02) fought hard to claim second place, while rookie Dylan Connolly (#86) impressed in his first season, securing a well-earned third-place finish.
Factory Stock drivers also delivered a thrilling 30-lap feature with 12 cars battling it out. In the end, it was Brad Bibeau (#80) who outlasted the competition to capture the season’s final Factory Stock checkered flag. Dale Tucker (#04) brought home a strong second-place finish, while Shanna Harten (#711) closed out the top three.
Unfortunately, due to township regulations requiring racing to end by 11:00 p.m., the Factory Four and Enduro divisions were unable to run their scheduled features on Saturday evening. Check out all the results from day two of the 2025 Mike Parsons Memorial weekend.
