The engines are revving, and the excitement is building as Laird Raceway gears up for Week Four of Thursday Night Thunder on Thursday, August 7th, with racing action set to ignite the ⅓-mile oval at 7:15 p.m. sharp.
Leading the way in the Super Late Model division is veteran driver Jordan Sims (#47), who enters the week with 81 points and a narrow lead in the standings. Right on his heels is Roddy Bolduc (#79), just nine points back, while Jordan Parniak (#826) sits in third, only ten points behind Sims, setting up a thrilling battle at the top of the leaderboard.
In the Modified division, Dustin Jackson (#61) holds a commanding 21-point lead over Jason Herrington (#78) of Thessalon, Ontario. Not far behind is Echo Bay’s Mark Laakso (#84), who sits in third with 83 points, just one point shy of Herrington.
The Factory Stock division is currently being led by a pair of rising stars. Owen Brown (#12) holds the top spot with 105 points, followed by Shanna Harten (#711) in second with 85 points. Dale Tucker (#4) is close behind with 80 points, leaving this division wide open heading into Thursday night.
In the Factory Four division, Dyllen Sherrard (#16) continues to impress, leading the standings with 99 points. Kayleigh Tucker (#4) holds second with 78 points, while Alex Lapensee (#08) rounds out the top three with 74 points. All eyes will be on this tight group as they battle for crucial positions.
After just two weeks of racing in the Enduro division, Chris Pinder (#95) and rookie Dayne Lorenzo (#19) are deadlocked at the top, each with 11 points. Eric Sylvestre (#44) sits in third and remains well within striking distance as the division gains momentum.
Looking ahead, fans can look forward to a full night of racing with six divisions on the card, including Super Late Models, Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Factory Fours, Enduros, and the always entertaining Lawnmower Races.
