Over the October 11th to 13th weekend, the Soo U16 Greyhounds had a mixed weekend on the road , experiencing both highs and lows as they faced off against the New Liskeard Cubs, Kapuskasing Flyers, and Timmins Majors. In their opening game against the Cubs, the Greyhounds battled hard but ultimately fell short, unable to convert key chances into goals. However, they bounced back in a thrilling match against the Flyers, showcasing their resilience and teamwork to secure a solid victory. Unfortunately, the momentum didn’t carry into their final game of the weekend against the Majors, where they encountered stiff competition and faced another tough loss. Despite the ups and downs, the Greyhounds remain determined and focused on improving as they look ahead to their next challenges.

Next action for the Soo U16 Jr Greyhounds will be back on the road over the October 19th and 20th weekend when they head to North Bay and Powassan to face the North Bay U16 Trappers. Game one will be at the Memorial Gardens in North Bay with a 7:00 p.m puck drop followed by game two of the weekend against the Trapper will be in Powassan with a 9:30 a.m start.
