With it being three weeks away until the start of the Centennial Cup at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, each of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s nine-member leagues are now down to their respective best-of-seven championship series.

There are CJHL 16 clubs still in contention to see who will join the Centennial Cup-host Calgary Canucks and fellow Alberta Junior Hockey League finalist, the Grande Prairie Storm, at the 10-team event, which goes May 8-18.

We know there will be at least five different league title holders heading to Calgary as the CCHL; MHL; MJHL; OJHL and SIJHL will have a new winner representing their respective leagues.

A new Centennial Cup champion will also be crowned, as last season’s winner, the Collingwood Blues (OJHL) were dethroned in the Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.
