Position: Forward
Team (2025/2026): Soo U15 AAA Greyhounds

What are the biggest areas of your game you’re focusing on improving this offseason?
In the offseason, I plan to improve my skating and work on physical fitness to improve my endurance. I also plan to watch game film from last season and focus on what I can do better when I don’t have the puck.

How do you plan to balance on-ice training, off-ice conditioning, and recovery over the summer?
Starting in June I am skating twice a week with Blake Speers and twice a week in the gym with Tyson mount and starting August I am skating three times a week and continue to train with Tyson twice a week. Until then I am skating occasionally for the month of may while going for light jogs after school.

I’m timing my runs so that each week I can see that I am getting faster and faster. I am also shooting 150 pucks a day and I am going to increase that over the summer. Like I mentioned before, I am going to watch my hockey from last year to improve my IQ.

Are there any specific skills (skating, shooting, strength, hockey IQ) you’ve set goals for, and how will you measure progress?
I am focusing on having a better mindset, attitude and not getting into penalty trouble as I did last year. I use it as motivation to push myself to be better and not dig that hole again.

What motivates you most heading into the offseason, and what are your expectations for yourself when you return?
What motivates me is people who have underestimated my skills. It drives me to want to continue to elevate my game. My expectation is to be a strong leader on and off the ice especially in the change room, that’s what will make us succeed.
